It is time to ponder the life and death of the gourds that we celebrate and debase with our attempt to compete in this kooky contest!
Basking in the delight of our slimily hand carved creations is better than all the candy we can steal from our neighbor’s children.
A job well done.
A chance to bond with our family and friends through creative cutting and catty jesting at each other’s ill-equipped attempts at pumpkin carving greatness.
This year we have a new category, a “Kid’s Best” award for kids 12 and under.
The Bruns/Winget Pumpkin Carving Contest Committee asks that you share your creative process, knife sharpening, pumpkin recipes and more!
